On Saturday October 22nd, Objektivity spices up the Dam again with one of its notorious Amsterdam Dance Event Specials. Together with Dekmantel, who are also hosting an area, a massive line-up has been put together. None other than Objektivity’s own Dennis Ferrer, The Martinez Brothers and André Hommen are going to take to the decks – as will Theo Parrish, San Proper, Casper Tielrooij and Thomas Martojo. Live acts are supplied by Juju & Jordash, Alfabet and Makam. All this will take place in Toko MC, one of Amsterdam’s hottest new locations.
The Objektivity ADE specials are an imperative for those who like their house deep, damp and downright dirty. Over the last three years, New York’s infamous deep house imprint has earned its place among the other major label showcases flocking Europe’s foremost dance music conference. After three successful years at Club Home, a new haven is found in one of Amsterdam’s most promising new hot spots. Toko MC is the perfect location, and local partners Dekmantel and Cruquius (who will be hosting the other night) the perfect accomplices for a debauchery of epic proportions.
Let’s be frank: 2011 has been an amazing year for Objektivity and head honcho Dennis Ferrer. And the hurting isn’t about to stop any time soon… After his smashing chart succes of Hey Hey and The Red Room, Dennis has hooked up with house prodigy André Hommen to bring you yet another Objektivity stomper. No Difference is built around an infectious bassline and a mesmerizing vocal, and is set to cook the floors this fall. Both Dennis and André are representing behind the decks on the 22nd, as are Objektivity’s other prodigies Martinez Brothers. The bro’s are back in town to bring you one of their dynamic back to back mayhems.
Local partner Dekmantel is widely respected as one of Amsterdam’s most cutting-edge platforms for unadulterous house and techno. They invited none other than new school disco don and Detroit house inspirator Theo Parrish to take to the decks, supported by their own Thomas Martojo, Casper Tielrooij and San Proper. Dekmantel icons Juju and Jordash are set to play a live show filled with funk and live instruments. And Dutch discohouse chief Makam is doing it live, too. Then, last but not least… After a couple of lauded releases on Rush Hour, Tom Trago and Awanto3’s new project Alfabet is playing live for the very first time, ever!
Oh, and did we mention the mystery guest from Detroit? Better get your tickets while they’re hot. Buy them at Free Record Shop or through the ADE official website.
